Asphalt Impact Crushers

Highest First Pass Yield

Crushing oversized recycled asphalt pavement (RAP) efficiently is key for reintroducing in-line material screened from the top deck back into the hot mix.

Stedman asphalt recycler makes short work of crushing RAP. The HSI, asphalt crusher, specifically engineered for the asphalt industry, reduces RAP to the required size quickly and easily for further processing. Stedman streamlined the design of its proven Grand Slam™ HSI to allow for a lighter footprint of the asphalt recycler while maintaining the necessary featuers of the HSI Grand Slam.

How Asphalt Crushing Equipment Works

As material loads in the Grand Slam asphalt impact crusher, the low-torque rotor and breaker bars throw material against single-apron wear plates. Additionally, the material hits against itself breaking along the natural fissures in the RAP. Once properly sized, the material passes through the pre-designated gap between the rotor and apron.
