STEDMAN
CAGE MILL
DESIGNED TO REDUCE
MAINTENANCE TIME
AND EXPENSES
AURORA,
IN -- The "Y"
Series™ Cage Mill Grinder-Blender, manufactured by
Aurora, Ind.-based Stedman, is a selective crushing, controlled-impact,
multi-cage mill designed for sizing minerals and agglomerates, whole grains,
chemicals, ores, and thousands of other materials. Since "Y"
Series Cage
Mills have no screens to rip or tear, no hammers to repair, and an open
discharge chute that won't plug, downtime is significantly reduced and
productivity increased.
The
"Y" Series Cage Mill is especially suited for processing of wet and sticky
materials, as well as dry materials, into a carefully-controlled uniform
particle size. By replacing sheaves and V-belts, particle size can be
easily adjusted.
An
integral feed chute directs material into the center of the counter rotating
cages. The low-profile, modular design "Y" Series Cage Mill is capable of
processing up to 40 tons per hour. The open discharge chute eliminates
plugging, and the combination grinding and blending method of operation
doesn't require screens
The
Stedman "Y" Series Cage Mill is ideal:
- For
use to reduce complex fertilizer oversize to 6 mesh and finer.
- As
a combination grinder-blender for coals, ores, feeds and many similar
materials where sizes range from 4 mesh to 20 mesh
- For
increasing or decreasing bulk density of soaps, detergents, caustic
soda, etc.
- For
any crushing service where large capacity, high-yield and an exact product
gradation -- with more or less fines -- is required.
Stedman, the originator of the cage mill, is the leader in the
science of size reduction, allowing customers to test before they buy
