2-STAGE REDUCTION SWING HAMMER MILL FROM STEDMAN

AURORA, IN – Stedman manufactures the 2-Stage Reduction Swing Hammer Mill for pulverizing, crushing and disintegrating rendering byproducts, wood, chemicals, minerals, garbage, fertilizer, aggregate materials, grain and more at a lower cost per ton. Materials in this up running hammer mill unit are disintegrated/shattered by the revolving hammers upon entry and are further reduced by the force of impact against the heavy breaker plates in the cover. Very little sizing of reduced materials is needed later.
Different types of hammers are available for this hammer mill, depending on the type of material being reduced. Many of the hammers are reversible and offer four wearing surfaces to increase service life and to help lower operational cost.
Founded in 1834, Stedman is the originator of the cage mill and is a leading manufacturer of size reduction equipment for the aggregate, chemical, fertilizer, grain, food, brick and clay, and recycling industries, among others. Stedman’s 2-Stage Swing Hammer Mills have been used for over 75 years.
